Jay first trained in phlebotomy 5 years ago and quickly discovered how much he enjoyed it. Having worked in primary care, secondary care and the community he has a wealth of experience in seeing all kinds of patients. He estimates in that time he has taken over 20,000 blood samples and is proud to say he gets patients returning time after time.
Jay decided to start this service after a need to work flexibly due to care responsibilities meant that a full time NHS job was no longer suitable. He is the registered person for CQC purposes and responsible for the day to day running of the business.

Megan is a qualified adult nurse and has worked in A&E as well as the community. She is a very competent phlebotomist and from time to time may undertake visits during busy periods. Megan helps Jay with the administration of the business and is often the first point of contact for us.

Home Visit Included
A home visit is included in the cost of all test packages. Other retailers charge up to £80 on top of the price of the test for this service! Clinic appointments can be cheaper but by the time you have travelled there and paid to park, why not relax at home and wait for us to arrive with a cup of tea instead.

Qualified and Experienced Phlebotomists
All our staff are NHS trained phlebotomists with a wealth of experience. Jay's Phlebotomy Service is fully CQC Registered meaning you can be assured that we are SAFE, EFFECTIVE, CARING, RESPONSIVE & WELL-LED. The registration process is rightly rigorous and we are proud to have gained registration.

High Quality Lab Tests
We have partnered with the London Medical Laboratory which is a CQC registered and fully compliant testing centre. They offer a huge range of tests, almost all of which we are able to offer, including the UK's most comprehensive allergy panel. Couriers can be arranged for time sensitive samples.
